Simon Boardman, Jono Hudson and Joolz Hudson are all Leeds, UK, based and are established musicians in their own right, but together they have a rich and varied background both writing and performing music in the heavy rock genre. They have all colluded in various bands and music projects previously. Flyz "Aphrodisia" album was originally co-written, recorded and produced by Jono & Simon. Joolz later joined the Flyz ranks to complete the line up. Ady Thewliss, long time ambassador of rock friendly town Castleford; but now resident in Leeds, is an accomplished drummer; well known at venues across the North of England due to his previous tenure with frequently touring Yorkshire rock act The Tourettes. He was recruited as Flyz drummer after he spotted and responded to an advert placed by the band for a permanent drummer; and other than a spell in 2005 when he was temporarily elsewhere, has been firmly ensconced on the Flyz throne ever since.
